Preparations for 2012 Summer Session
The next summer session of the ReSET Project "Towards a New Cultural History of Eastern and Central Europe" is planned tentatively for 15-29 July, 2012. Main themes of the summer session will be the following: “Reassessing Power, Resistance and Negotiation: Cultural Hegemony, Social Discipline, and Technologies of Power”; “Religious Identities and Confessionalization in Early Modern and Modern East-Central Europe”. Student Initiatives 2012 - SEE
The aim of the Student Initiatives is to empower students to address issues related to systemic change in higher education. Student Initiatives supports the involvement of students in the democratization of the educational process and in building issue-based transnational student alliances in South Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. The International Higher Education Support Program of the Open Society Foundations is pleased to invite project proposals within its Student Initiatives for new projects from students from the following Southeast European (SEE) university student communities: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro and Serbia.
